How to spend the perfect Weekend on the Côte d’Azur
12 | 08 | 2026

There are countless ways to spend a weekend on the Côte d’Azur, but we’ve always believed the best ones are spontaneous and best spent with no real plan.
They’re made up of early morning swims before the beaches fill, long lunches that turn into afternoons by the sea, scenic drives with nowhere particular to be, and golden hour that somehow stretches long into the evening.
Whether it’s your first time on the Riviera or your fifteenth, here’s how we’d spend the perfect 48 hours.
10:00am | A Swim Before the World Wakes Up
There’s something special about Antibes before everyone wakes up.
The cafés are only just opening, the harbour is still quiet, and the Mediterranean is as calm as it will be all day.
Start your morning with a swim from the old town walls or the pier at Plage de l’Olivette, where crystal-clear water and colourful fishing boats make it feel like you’ve stepped onto a postcard.

12:00pm | Find Your Beach for the Day
One of the best things about exploring the Riviera in a MOKE is that you don’t need a fixed destination.
Follow the coastline, pull over whenever a beach catches your eye, and stay a little longer than you planned. If you’re looking for somewhere to start, Plage des Marinières in Villefranche-sur-Mer is hard to beat, with calm, crystal-clear water and colourful waterfront cafés just steps from the beach.

8:00pm | Rosé, Music & Golden Hour
As the afternoon melts into evening, the Riviera begins to slow.
Make your way to Plage de Passable in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, where the restaurant sits right on the water overlooking the Bay of Villefranche.
Settle in with a chilled glass of rosé, share fresh Mediterranean dishes and watch the sun disappear behind the hills.

9:00am | Wander Through Antibes Market
No Sunday on the Côte d’Azur is complete without a visit to Marché Provençal.
Rows of fresh peaches, fragrant herbs, colourful flowers and warm bread fill the market with the sights and scents of Provence. Wander without a plan, chat with the local stallholders and pick up a few treats for the road ahead.
It’s one of those simple Riviera rituals you’ll find yourself coming back to.

12:00pm | Take the Scenic Route
There are few better ways to explore the Riviera than from behind the wheel of a MOKE. Rent one for the aday and set off along the coast, winding your way from Antibes towards Cap d’Antibes or Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. Make sure to take the scenic route and stop whenever something catches your eye. A hidden cove, a quiet beach or a viewpoint overlooking the Mediterranean.

7:00pm | Stay for Sunset
Before heading home for the day, make time for one last Riviera sunset.
Find a quiet spot by the water, pour a final glass of rosé and watch the sun disappear behind the hills as the sky turns shades of gold and pink. It’s the perfect way to end the weekend, and a reminder that on the Côte d’Azur, the best moments are often the simplest.
