You have seen them around, they turn heads. Maybe you have even been for a ride in one, and if you have then you know what we mean. When you are in a MOKE – you don’t just go for a drive – you go for a ride.

For the past 20 years trying to find a MOKE of your own was extremely difficult as this classic cruising mobile stop being produced in 1993. Even parts were hard to find and these fun machines were being kept cooped up in garages and turned into collector’s pieces. Mokes are not meant to be kept, cooped up in cages – they are meant to be out cruising around and having fun.

In 2012 we teamed up with Designer Michael Young to bring the MOKE back into full production. After redesigning and reengineering more than 160 new parts the MOKE is back, and its better than ever.

It has the same spirit, the same style and is just as suave as the original MOKE – we have just snazzed it up a little. So what are you waiting for? Start up a MOKE and Start Having Fun.

Our Designer – Michael Young

“Guiding this car from drawing to production was a major undertaking, I now understand why there are so many terrible looking cars on the roads, apart from the lack of risk taking and legislation. The first production run of cars was based on a low volume scheme which was of course a challenge in China.
When my studio joined the project there was an initial version of the car halfway through the system which had been driven by previous factory floor decision making. We stripped back all of those decisions and took a fresh view which meant we had to adjust the body for the new size engine and steering and then build up the parts around that.
Of course with an iconic vehicle like the Moke the objective was to retain it’s heritage but bring it forward to modern day ground zero detailing.”

— Michael Young

The MOKE was VERY Cool.… So cool that we didn’t want it to die in Portugal so we did something about it. We decided to bring it back.
